Assessing your system

Our decades of experience evaluating dozens of systems can quickly help you identify the strengths and weaknesses of your current Performance Appraisal (PAS) and Performance Management (PMS) System. ZPG works with your HR staff or PAS/PMS team to both assess your current system and recommend cost-effective improvements that will rapidly help you align your employees with the corporate strategy and give you the tools to maximize performance.

Improving existing systems

The vast majority of our clients have a good system that needs to be better. Rather than scrapping what you have, we work to build on the best of your system to incorporate best practices from across all industries. While complete redesigns are within our capability, our speciality is refining existing systems to make them more objective and effective.

Creating customized performance measures

ZPG can help your managers create more objective goals more quickly by working with you to define a set of example performance measures that managers can "borrow and modify". By selecting the most common positions, those with functions common to many jobs in your company, and the "hardest-to-measure" positions, ZPG creates company-specific examples that contain your strategy, your language and your culture to make goal-setting as easy as possible company-wide. These examples can be combined with thousands of examples from other organizations and made available via internet/intranet to your employees.

Training your managers and employees

ZPG believes in making its clients self-sufficient. We use live, internet and self-paced training aids to give your staff the ability to create measures and set goals as your competitive environment changes. We can train your managers and employees directly, but we prefer to conduct trainer-training to complete the technology transfer making you completely independent of us.

Providing online training and measurement tools

We can make objective measurement easier with our online, CDROM and paper job aids. Over two decades of measurement experience are at your fingertips in our online measurement database. These tools can be licensed to cost-effectively make performance measurement as easy as possible for all of your employees.

System design and redesign

Perhaps you've completely outgrown your existing system, or a radical change in corporate direction requires a completely new system to support it. ZPG can go beyond refining your PAS/PMS to create a new, state-of-the-art system that will dynamically align employees with your key corporate goals. Each redesign is completely custom, building on best-practices, and never limited by our current product offerings.
